Nursery Teacher

Shante is a Nursery School teacher from South Africa. During her teaching career, she has attended various continuing professional development courses. Shante is passionate about Inquiry-Based Learning and supporting children through their developmental milestones. She engages students by making real-world connections through exploration and high-level questioning. This supports participation of children with a wide range of learning styles, while also exposing children to experiences they may not typically seek out. Shante aims to create a positive classroom environment using appropriate teaching methods and techniques to accommodate for all learners.

Matilda Colgrave-Holmes

Pre-Nursery

Matilda is an Early Childhood Teacher that specialise in the learning, developmental, social, and physical needs of young children. She grew up in Bahrain from the age of nine and is originally from Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. Matilda has always had a strong interest in teaching and learning, and from a young age aspired to become an Early Years Teacher. She began working at Etonhouse in 2021 as a trainee and worked her way up to becoming a teacher. She is extremely passionate about childcare and works to facilitate meaningful learning experiences through play, and observe and record child behaviors. Matilda cares greatly about each individual child’s wellbeing and happiness, and she makes a positive difference in the lives of young children.

Arabic Teacher

Fatima is an enthusiastic and devoted Arabic teacher with strong interpersonal communication skills and a deep commitment to understanding students’ unique challenges with language learning. She enjoys providing students with real-life learning opportunities that encourage critical thinking. Fatima ensures that her lessons are engaging and maximise the learning opportunities in diverse classroom settings. She is a highly sociable teacher who provides feedback for learning to other teachers and parents for the improvement of the Arabic teaching program.
